It appears now that all those years of struggling financially have been preparation for this time in history; when we songwriters can all share our stories of the past and present, as well as our dreams of the future – via our lyrics and music.

This gift has been given to all artists and now it's time for us to come forward.

Speaking for myself, I used to think of my life's job description as yet another “Jack of All Trades”. I now believe the combination of child classical string bassist, then teen age Rock ‘n' Roll bass guitarist, followed by self-taught six-cum-twelve-string acoustic/electric guitarist, and eventually Singer/Songwriter, means more than just a nice variety for a hobby.

However, with a stereotypical, yet loving, upbringing of the work ethic of “making a living”, my responsible side led me into the craft of jewellery making in my first marriage, then the post-marriage fascinating world of Silver Service restaurants.

Surviving all of that, I met Heidi – a teacher of children, and me (and you, too if you want – see Life Coaching). She has been a constant reminder of pursuing one's passion. Since marrying her and moving to Australia, I have taken my music in different directions – as Children's Entertainer and eventually music teacher. My music has never died – only re-incarnated, with songwriting as its foundation.

Having written over 500 original songs, I now fully realise my role is to share music that will help us all help ourselves – and each other – to turn this wonderful planet of ours into one big orchestra. The first musical offerings on this website are solo voice and guitar are intimate, yet global, in theme – inspired by recent world travel and my connection with our future adults. Please feel free to download these songs and give me any feedback you wish.

Many of you have a similar story to mine. Perhaps we could collaborate…our “shrinking” world is what we make it. My choice is for a world of expansion, growth and development.
