David Stinson Entertainments

David Stinson Entertainments encompasses Children's Entertainment, (photos) Singer/Songwriter performances for general audiences and also acts as a loosely-knit booking agency.

The format can range from full stage shows to songwriting and clown workshops.

Audiences have ranged from 2 to 2000 people at venues like your home to the Sydney Opera House – as well as a myriad of international venues during the 1999 and 2005 World Tours.

As host of several radio programmes and a television show, not to mention the composer of over 500 original songs and three albums, David has taken his knowledge into the classroom for the past four years to teach music in the school system as well.

Heidi, after a long career of teaching, has chosen to further explore her alter egos and release them upon the world! David and Heidi are now working as a duo act – and their combination of characters are now more than ready for you. Read on for character descriptions…

CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINMENT

Uncle Jump and Auntie Freeze, together with Oom-Pa-Pa and Oom-Ma-Ma Clowns have joined forces with their creators, David and Heidi, to offer a spectrum of professional high-energy presentations.

UNCLE JUMP (U.J.)

This well-known Master of Ceremonies/colourful Big Kid of Music is now bringing his international/multicultural experiences in the form of Story Songs, Sing-Alongs and Action Songs, etc. to your venue – world-wide! On a smaller scale, U.J. can also bring his unique style to his popular Songwriting Workshops for Youth.

Wherever appropriate – at a concert hall, festival, school or home, there is audience participation to the MAX. So, take the leap with Uncle Jump!

AUNTIE FREEZE

This warm-hearted and outrageously dressed character enjoys stage shows as much as U.J. and the kids! As stage manager, choreographer and parent contact, she streamlines the action, keeps the puns flying, works hands-on with the children on- and off-stage and basically ensures high levels of participation and contentment. Lately, she has not been able to resist singing with U.J., so stay tuned…

As a workshop language development teacher, she loves to support creativity by facilitating the writing of poetry, stories, and scripts for plays or radio presentations. Some might even end up as original songs with U.J.'s collaboration!

Her exciting music workshops for younger children entail basic rhythm awareness, pitch and listening skills training as well as learning simple songs in English, French and German. No WORLD TOUR necessary - it's all available right here!

Together, Auntie Freeze and U.J. will keep you jumping! Let them (us) co-create that magic event for you!

OOM-PA-PA CLOWN

Parading with his Sousaphone (marching band Tuba) and other fun musical instruments, creating animal balloons, clown juggling, or meeting and greeting – Oom-Pa-Pa is your clown!

OOM-MA-MA CLOWN

Oom-Ma-Ma Clown was born in Clown Town on a community television show in 1995 and hasn't grown up yet! She is your inner child: she plays and talks a lot; and has heaps of fun with everyone everywhere. She teaches finding your clown self through clowning history and make-up and puppetry, playing simple instruments and balloon modelling. All in all, she loves to take care of people of all ages – and make them smile!
